Recent efforts have concentrated on decorating the ends and back side of the layout that make the running loop possible. In keeping with the Santa Maria Valley's history, an agricultural theme is presented. This layout of the Santa Maria Valley railroads remains in the front window at the Museum. The front portion is of the downtown yard.
