Ed single-handedly cleared about a 1/4 mile of siding that connects the caboose spot to the mainline. At left you can make out the cleared area extending a couple feet on other side of the rails. Above, Ed extracts a rather stubborn berry root. At left, Ed is barely visible in the middle of the siding (to the right). Beyond, on around the siding, is where the caboose sits. The shinier track that runs through the picture from lower right to far left is the mainline. We do what we can to help out the railroad in appreciation of their support for the Museum. |
