August 11, 2001 An offer to prime (and later paint) the caboose starting the next day put the team in full gear to prep the caboose. Everything was cleaned, dusted, masked, and wiped down inside and out. This was to be the last day, at least temporarily, that the SMVRR caboose #180 would be its original SMVRR yellow.
